Hizkuntzen ikas-irakaskuntzan hizkuntza-teknologiak egin dezakeen ekarpena azaltzea da artikulu honen helburua. Horretarako, hizkuntzalaritza konputazionala zer den eta eskolan zelan erabil daitekeen landuko da, alde batetik. Beste alde batetik, testuinguruari eta nazioarteko esperientziei gainbegirada orokorra emateaz gain, euskararen esparruan garatu diren baliabideei eta egiten ari diren ikerlanei ere erreparatuko zaie, etorkizuneko bideak eta erronkak alde batera utzi gabe.

Annotation guidelines for the Fact-Ita Bank Negation corpus

Fact-Ita Bank for FactA@EVALITA 2016 has been enriched with a new level of annotation, namely negation cues, their scope and their focus. Here we present the guidelines for negation information annotation.

Leveraging SNOMED CT terms and relations for machine translation of clinical texts from Basque to Spanish

We present a method for machine translation of clinical texts without using bilingual clinical texts, leveraging the rich terminology and structure of the Systematized Nomenclature of Medicine – Clinical Terms (SNOMED CT), which is considered the most comprehensive, multilingual clinical health care terminology collection in the world. We evaluate our method for Basque to Spanish translation, comparing the performance with and without using clinical domain resources.
